Christmas in Tasmania is something special - long summer evenings, cool coastal air, and homes glowing with lights that bring people together and create memories. 

Founded in Hobart, Tasmania, our Christmas light store was created from a simple love of the festive season and the joy that a well lit home can bring.

If you are not from Hobart or come from mainland Australia, here is a little background about us. We started Christmas decorating our house with Christmas lights 10 years ago as children. From just one set of icicle lights, over the years we grew our display into what has become known 'Johnnys Christmas Light Display,' which has won competitions and is nationally recognized. Each year we raise thousands of dollars for Hobart City Mission, Cancer Council Tasmania and the University of Tasmania's Wicking Dementia Research and Education Centre. Our biggest achievement came in 2025 where we had our own segment on the Today Show!

After years of purchasing Christmas lights, one thing stuck out brighter than an LED bulb - there are no Christmas light stores in Tasmania and specialty lights are not available locally. So, we have created Neon Noel to make it easier for Tasmanians to decorate their homes in Christmas style!

Whether you are decorating for the first time, upgrading an existing display, or planning something big & bold, we are here to help every step of the way. Our goal is simple: to make Christmas brighter, easier, and more magical for our community.
